The Gerontology certificate provides students with the knowledge, coursework, skills, and practical experience necessary to meet the needs of older adults in a variety of settings. The curriculum teaches intervention techniques needed to work with older adults to provide support and to understand their special needs in entry-level positions at various human-services agencies for older adults. 

Credit Requirements: 24 semester credit hours
