Practical NursingPractical Nursing - Diploma

The Practical Nursing diploma prepares students to care for acutely and chronically ill patients, to help rehabilitate patients, and to share in the prevention of illness. HGTC's curriculum combines classroom instruction with laboratory practice and clinical experience in various settings. Graduates of the program are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). Upon successful completion of this examination and appropriate board licensure, the candidate will be designated as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
