Information Literacy Workshops

Information literacy is the set of skills needed to find, retrieve, analyze, and effectivly use information. Information literacy instruction is a main focus for the library, and faculty are a critical part of this key library mission.

HGTC librarians are available to speak to your class about research strategies for a particular assignment. We can also collaborate wtih faculty to develop research components for assignments.

You can schedule a time to bring your class to the library's smart classroom for a workshop either online, by phone, or in person. The more information you can give us, the better. Please give us at least one week's notice to ensure that we will be able to accomodate your class.

Request Books, DVDs, & Software

Is there a book in your field that you'd like to see the library purchase? Requesting a book (or video or software) is as easy as filling out a simple form, either online or in person.
